Yes, GrinTale is a web application that works on any modern browser, on any operating system.

Can I try it for free before subscribing? +

Absolutely yes. Simply register at grintale.it/register and create your account — no credit card required. You'll have immediate full access to all premium features for 15 days, with no restrictions.

No automatic charge: When the 15-day trial expires, nothing is charged automatically. If you want to continue, subscribe voluntarily at €79/year — you can manage everything directly from the panel under Settings → Billing.

How does the subscription work? +

You can subscribe directly at grintale.it/checkout — this option does not include a free trial. If you're already registered, you'll also find the button under Settings → Billing.

The subscription is annual at €79/year. You can cancel at any time: access remains active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Are my texts safe? +

Absolutely yes. Your intellectual property and the security of your data are our top priority.

Encryption & Protocols: All data is transmitted over secure HTTPS and stored on protected cloud servers. Your passwords are hashed, meaning no one — not even us — can see them.

Full Ownership: You remain the sole owner of everything you write. GrinTale makes no claim whatsoever over your texts or projects.

Free Export: You'll never be "locked in" to the platform. You can export your projects at any time in the available formats, so you always have an up-to-date local copy of your work.

Backups: We also recommend making periodic exports of your work as a personal safety net — a good habit for every digital writer.

What happens when the trial or subscription expires? +

If you don't subscribe (or don't renew), you'll no longer be able to access the platform, but your data will be kept for 90 days (trial) or 12 months (expired annual subscription) — after which it will be automatically deleted.

We'll send you a reminder email 3 days before expiry, so you won't be caught off guard.
